Process · From first call to install

How your custom cabinets get built.

Eight steps take your project from the first conversation to delivery. The materials, price and written scope are settled before the work moves into our San Jose shop.

Eight steps, in this order

Nothing is built until it is agreed.

01

Tell us about your project

Share your plans, photos of the space, and a general sense of the materials you like.

02

Quote

We put together an estimate for the work.

03

Pricing and material approval

We settle the materials and the numbers together before anything else happens.

04

Invoice and contract

You get a written invoice and a signed contract, so the scope is on paper.

05

Payment

The project is scheduled once payment is in.

06

We measure

We come out and measure the space ourselves. Your walls are not square. Ours account for that.

07

We build

Every cabinet is cut, assembled and finished by hand in our San Jose shop. No CNC.

08

Delivery and install

Delivered, and installed if you’d like us to.

Before the first conversation

What to bring.

Rough dimensions help us discuss the job. We take our own measurements before building.

See the standard materials
Photographs of the room
Wide shots of each wall, plus anything that is in the way or not working today.
Drawings, if you have them
Architect or designer plans, appliance specifications, or a sketch on graph paper.
A sense of the finish
A photograph or sample of the floors, countertops or furniture the cabinetry will sit beside.
