Ten useful answers.
- What does Atrics build?
- Custom kitchens, bathroom vanities, built-ins, libraries, pantries, closets and commercial cabinetry. Everything is built by hand in our San Jose shop.
- Where do you work?
- We serve San Jose and the greater San Francisco Bay Area, from the South Bay and the Peninsula to Fremont and the Tri-Valley. Contact the shop with your project location and we will confirm.
- Do I need drawings before I contact you?
- No. Bring plans if you have them, or photographs of the room and an idea of what you need. We can design with you or work from your architect’s or contractor’s drawings.
- Who prices the work?
- The owner prices every job. The first conversation is free, and materials and pricing are settled with you before the invoice and contract.
- Can you give a standard price per foot?
- Each project is quoted individually. Cabinet dimensions, door materials, drawers, hardware and the complexity of the layout all affect the price.
- When is the project scheduled?
- The project is scheduled once payment is in, after material and pricing approval and the invoice and contract. Discuss your requested timing with the shop during the first conversation.
- Do you measure the space yourselves?
- Yes. We come out and measure before building. Your initial photographs and rough dimensions help start the conversation, but they do not replace our measurements.
- Is installation available?
- Yes. Cabinets are delivered, and installation is available if you would like us to handle it. Confirm delivery and installation responsibilities in the project scope.
- Are the cabinets made with CNC equipment?
- No. Cabinets are cut, assembled and finished by hand in our own San Jose shop. The same crew works on the project from start to finish.
- Can I visit the shop?
- Yes. The shop is at 1719 Junction Ave, Suite B, San Jose, CA 95112. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturdays by appointment.
